Sherrie's background has embraced many different forms. At the beginning, fashion design allowed her to create patterns and seek out unusual fabrics. The love of texture lead her to the art of weaving. Her studio soon became filled with different types of looms: frame, floor, and even a large tapestry loom....then she even began spinning her own yarn in order get that uniquely individual fiber.
Now Sherrie loves to experiment in the mediums of acrylic paint and hot wax (encaustics). Her paintings emit creativity and texture. She is proud when her work says "Reach Out and Touch Me"
